In 2019, InnoVent launched the project to build the Europe’s largest storage plant.

For 3 years, InnoVent has therefore carried out all the stages of development, from initial studies to the purchase of land and building permits to the commissioning of batteries. Following the legal dispute between us and the Canadian company Boralex, we were however forced to sell this promising project with a power of 50 MW and 100 MWh storage capacity to Corsica Sole. We then managed the construction of the project until its inauguration on December 1, 2022.

This power plant will regulate the grid frequency and store energy at low consumption hours to re-inject it at high consumption hours.
